True Story…

Back in the day … before the chocolate boxes contained maps telling you what’s in the center of those yummy orbs … I figured out a way to know what was the best in the box!

When I was 9 yrs old I got blamed for squishing some chocolates in a freshly opened box of Valentine chocolates. Someone had squeezed a bunch of them to see if they liked the inner part. Was it creamy and pink, or was it gooey and runny with a cherry inside??? It was hit and miss back then and you had to suffer if you got the luck of the draw with a squishy pink, white or yellow one … my least favourites … Yuck!

After being wrongly accused, I felt like I had to do something to rise above being labelled a Chocolate Squasher!!! What did I do you may ask?

Well, I figured out a way to know exactly what was inside each and every single one of those mysterious chocolate delights! I took great pleasure in my method so that I could publicly show everyone in my family that I knew what was inside each and every chocolate without actually squishing any of them.

Here’s what I did! Privately, I would turn the chocolate over and puncture it with the end of a straight pin. Then once it was punctured, I would take the head of the other end of the pin and dig out a tiny bit to see what colour it was inside. Clever huh? Once I knew what was inside of all of the chocolates, I would show my expert skills and predict calmly what was in each and every one of the chocolates!

A family member might go to reach for the plump inviting round chocolate delight … and I would say, “Oh, are you sure that you really want the lemon cream?’ … Their questioning expressions continued as I went on to report what was inside of any chocolates that they might reach for.

Bam!!! I was no longer labelled the chocolate squashing bandit! I was the wise knowing child with a method!

Can you imagine my disappointment when the chocolate boxes came the following year with MAPS inside of them!!!

These days I still enjoy looking on the inside for the goodies! It’s my passion to help you discover what’s going on with your inside story of you,  but I don’t have to stick pins in you and flip you over to find out what’s on the inside. I do it another way and I want to teach you how to see your inside story differently on my upcoming webinar! Sign up here.

Is it creamy and yummy … or is it toxic and bitter and sour and yucky and smelly? No matter what is in there we can change it and get it to be sweet and sincere and truthful and loving and yummy!
