PATTY’S TRUE CONFESSION
When your outer world keeps on reflecting the same old story … it will weigh you down and cause spiritual depression. You might even get mad at God!
If you are actively on a spiritual path to expand and grow, you must be aware that change is difficult. To shift ANYTHING, you must be aware of what’s really happening on the inside. You could be diligent with your practice; meditation, positive affirmations, gem stones, etc. However, if what you are doing isn’t working, you might be missing the clues from within.
If it feels like you are slapped up against the ceiling of stuck energy … it is actually Growth knocking at your door.
Ask yourself, “What is the Universe showing me that I am projecting from within?”
True story: my client Patty (not her real name) didn’t get her needs met in childhood and nobody was there to rescue her when she was being bullied … that story was looking to be completed and played itself out in all areas of her adult life: money, family and intimate relationships, health, career, etc.
Her ‘not ever being supported and rescued story’ felt like there was an invisible stamp on her forehead that said, “please bully me”. This ‘theme’ was on a rinse and repeat cycle! Even though her spirit was very low, she mustered up her strength and worked harder in all areas of lack.
Guess what happened? Her outer world got even meaner!!!
Luckily, she reached out to me for help with this issue and we found the creation story that was being protected and hidden. Patty was trying to be positive and didn’t want to even remember how diminished she felt about the bullying.
She felt that she would be more bullied if she acknowledged the old wounds.
It was like witnessing a true confession once we opened up the padlocked filing cabinet of stories.
Patty was amazed at how this ‘theme’ had followed an exact path in her creations, especially with her money story.
Patty suffered because she didn’t look inside to find the belief. She believed that by fixing her outer world first, the suffering would stop.
